Fishing in Brandenburg is allowed to anyone over eight years old. Since 2006, you can fish in Brandenburg with 2 coarse fishing rods without having taken any fishing exam (fishing license). Fishermen without a fishing license always need to carry along the following three papers:
1. fishery tax stamp (pasted into verification map)
2. fishing permit (permit of the fishery right holder, respectively the owner of the waters)
3. personal identity document with photo (German federal identity card if available)
The fishing fee stamp is the public permission for fishing. The fishing license is a private license for the respective waters. Angel cards are of the fishermen, the State Angling Association, fishing clubs, Anglo shops e.g. issued. In many cases you can also buy fishing fee stamps.
In Lübbenau / they are available at the campsite Schlosspark (tel. 03542 3533), in the fish restaurant "Spreewald-Idyll" (tel. 03542 41777) and in the fishing shop "Firl" (tel. 03542 80227).
