In the old brick building on Schulstraße there is the 2015 newly arranged information centre of the Spreewald Biosphere Reserve. In an interactive exhibition you will learn, how the Spreewald developed thousands of years ago and how it is protected now. Furthermore, various projects are presented, which have been designed to protect the Spreewald’s flora and fauna.

Atelier Brüggemann-Riemer

Oil paintings from the Spreewald and travel impressions of Italy, France, Spain and Australia, painted in the style of Cubism in many yellow and red tones - the colors of light - can be admired in the studio of this female artist. Art prints and art cards, as well as photo prints and accessories, complement the small gallery in a historic ambience.

Galerie Ro

In addition to the craftsmanship of framing in the workshop at the courtyard, there is a store selling textiles, jewelry and decorations from a distant world located in the centre of the old town of Lübbenau. You can purchase, for example, original shawls, which were brought from Nepal in different variations, felted jackets, bags and many unique little things.

Heimatstube Leipe

Everything concerning local history can be found in the little old farmhouse designed with great attention to detail. You can admire beautiful traditional costumes in the smallest spaces. In the summertime the local museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10.30 am to 03.30 pm. Subject to change.

Slawenburg Raddusch

Following the appearance of the Slavonic castle, which stood at this place more than 1000 years ago, today's Slawenburg Raddusch - with the exhibition ‘Archaeology in Lower Lusatia’, function rooms, restaurants and castle shop - is a modernly designed functional building.
